Tattoo Removal with PicoSure

The PicoSure laser uses extremely fast picosecond pulses that act like a pressure wave to break up ink particles in the skin. The fine sand like ink particles are then removed by the bodies own lymph system that filters foreign substances and toxins out out of the body. ***Multiple sessions are required for full removal of tattoo ink.

2" Square Tattoo

$200+ per session

Tattoos less than 2" square. Minimum starting price per session. Price includes professional topical numbing agent. The number of treatments required vary depending on tattoo age, amount of ink deposits, type of ink used, and general health of the individual. Multiple treatments are required for removal. Recommended treatment interval is 8 weeks. Sun avoidance in the treatment area required 4 weeks prior and 4 weeks post. Consultation required.

3"-5" Square Tattoo

$300+ per session

Tattoos measuring 3"-5" square. Tattoo treatment prices may not be combined with other tattoos. Price includes professional topical numbing agent. Common Questions about tattoo removal

I just need to lighten my tattoo for a cover up.

The PicoSure laser treatment is ideal for fading tattoos for a cover-up. You will need to work closely with your tattoo artist to find out exactly how much lighter it needs to be in order to successfully cover. Each artist will have different requirements. It is advised to wait at least 8 weeks after the PicoSure treatment until preforming a cover up.

Can I treat sooner than 8 weeks?

The procedure of breaking down tattoo ink causes inflammation to the skin, which stimulates the ink removal process in the body. The body takes 6-8 weeks to fully heal and remove ink particles after the treatment. Treating sooner will induce more inflammation and can promote scarring of the skin. Removal takes time. The healthier you are and the longer you wait, the more proficient your system is at removing the ink particles.

Can you remove permanent makeup?

Usually, no. A professional tattoo artist uses a different type of ink than a permanent makeup artist. Upon impact with the laser, tattoos have a risk of oxidizing (changing color). Browns may turn orange and blacks typically turn green. Permanent makeup pigments have a higher chance of oxidizing.

Eyebrow tattoos can be treated but run the risk of oxidation which may extend treatment numbers.

Lasers cannot be used inside the orbital eye bone, therefore eyeliners are not treatable.
